Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data FAMS COLLECTION collects when you use this website or buy from us, why, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated 6 October 2026
This website is operated by FAMS COLLECTION (trading as FAMS COLLECTION), Udhna Udhyog Nagar, Surat, Gujarat, India (“we”, “us”). We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and other laws applicable in India and in the State of Gujarat.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us — your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and PIN code when you place an order; and whatever you write to us through the contact or enquiry forms, WhatsApp, email or phone, including measurements for custom orders.
- Order information — the products you buy, amounts, dates and delivery status.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. Card, UPI and net-banking credentials are entered on, and held by, the payment gateway; we do not receive or store them. We receive only the transaction reference and status.
- Technical information — like any website, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.
2. How we use your information
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
- To reply to your enquiries and to prepare quotations for custom work.
- To send you messages about your order, such as confirmation and dispatch updates.
- To prevent fraud, keep the website secure and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We will send you promotional messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sharing with third parties
We share personal data only as needed to run our business, with:
- our payment gateway partner, to process payments and refunds;
- courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order (name, phone, address);
- our website hosting provider, which stores the website and its request logs;
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), when you choose to contact us or send an enquiry through WhatsApp;
- government authorities, courts or law-enforcement agencies, where we are required to by law.
These parties may process your data only for the purpose for which we share it. Some may store data on servers outside India, which we permit only where the law allows.
4. How we protect your information
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to order and customer information is limited to the people who need it to fulfil your order. We follow reasonable security practices as required by the IT Act, 2000. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of a personal data breach as the law requires.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and for the period required by tax and accounting laws. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted when they are no longer needed.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected and updated;
- have your data erased when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity;
- have your grievances redressed, as set out below.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on the contact page.
7. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our payment gateway may set cookies that are strictly necessary to complete a payment securely. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may prevent checkout from working.
8. Children
Orders must be placed by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or lawful guardian.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change, we will post a notice on this website before the change takes effect.
